Global alumina production falls in Aug

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global alumina production was 11.943 million tons in August this year, decreasing by 1.12% compared to the previous month. The daily output in August was 385,300 tons.
During the period, China's estimated alumina production totaled 6.95 million tons.
