According to the market prediction, the total output of steel products in China might reach 1.03 billion tons in the whole of 2021, as the number has already reached 946 million tons in the first 11 months of 2021.

Compared to 2020, the 2021 output of steel products in China faced a slight decrease of approximately 3.3%, with around 35 million tons.

By some of the sources, the steel inventory touched the peak in mid-March of 2021, and the balanced market demand and supply provided a good environment for downstream steelmakers to grow.
