China’s unwrought aluminum alloy imports & exports rise in Aug

According to statistics from China Customs, China’s imports of unwrought aluminum alloy totaled 91,000 tons in August this year, increasing by 9.6% compared to the previous month and falling by 16.7% from the same month a year ago.

During the period, the exports of unwrought aluminum alloy grew by 7.3% month on month and by 29% year on year, reaching around 25,000 tons.

In the first eight months of this year, China’s imports of unwrought aluminum alloy amounted to approximately 706,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 19.7%. Exports hiked by 11.5% year on year to 163,000 tons.
