China’s unwrought aluminum & aluminum products exports rise in Jan-May

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, the country exported around 439,100 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in May. The exports amounted to approximately 2.16 million tons in the first five months of this year, up by 7.5% compared to the same period a year ago.
In May, the imports of unwrought copper and copper products were around 445,700 tons. The total imports in the first five months of this year were roughly 2.37 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%.
