China’s unwrought aluminum and aluminum products exports grow in Dec 2021

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, China’s exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products amounted to around 563,000 tons in December 2021, rising by 10.53% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 23.43% from the same month a year ago. This figure hit a new high since January 2019.
In the whole year of 2021, China exported a total of roughly 5.17 million tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, hiking by 15.7% year on year.
In terms of copper products, China’s imports of unwrought copper and copper products totaled around 589,000 tons in December 2021, up by 15.43% month on month and by 15% year on year. The total imports in 2021 were roughly 5.53 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.23%.
