According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, China’s imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products amounted to around 187,000 tons in June this year, falling by 36.3% compared to the same month a year ago. Meanwhile, China’s alumina exports had a year-on-year increase of 190,000 tons, surging by 3,664.8% year on year.

In the first half of this year, China imported approximately 1.08 million tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, down by nearly 26% year on year. The exports of alumina grew greatly by 1,268.3% year on year.
