According to a report released by Citi Research yesterday (July 22), it raised its aluminum price forecasts for this and next year by 5% and 12%, respectively.
Citi Research said that the average price of LME aluminum in 2020 was expected to be US$1,636/ton. The predicted average price of LME aluminum will be increased to US$1,900/ton in 2021 and US$2,000/ton in 2022.
