According to the data from the Colombian Committee of Steel Producers (CPA), Colombia produced around 101,800 tons of crude steel in February this year, falling by 5.3% compared to the previous month and also sliding by 5.8% from the same month a year ago.
Meanwhile, Colombia produced around 110,700 tons of long steel products, which dropped by 1% from last month and 0.5% from February 2020.
In the first two months this year, Colombia’s crude steel output had a year-on-year decrease of 1.4% to nearly 210,000 tons and the long products output was up by 3.4% year on year to around 222,500 tons.
