Colombia’s crude steel production up in Sep

According to statistics from Colombia’s Committee of Steel Producers (ANDI-CPA), the country’s crude steel production totaled around 125,500 tons in September this year, rising by 6.4% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 21.7% from the same month a year ago.

In the first nine months of this year, Colombia’s crude steel production amounted to approximately 997,500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.1%.

Besides, Colombia’s long finished steel production was around 146,700 tons in September, up by 1.3% month on month and 28.3% year on year. The January-September long finished steel output had a year-on-year increase of nearly 44% to 1.17 million tons.
