Even if China's daily crude steel output has dropped to its lowest level since 2017, China seems not to stop its limitation on crude steel output.

After introducing new restrictions on coal price trading yesterday (October 27), China's futures prices tumbled, which also affected related products prices in Singapore Exchange.

According to statistics from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), daily steel output kept falling in early and middle October and steel output had fallen to the lowest level since 2017.

However, in order to reduce carbon emission and energy consumption, restrictions on steel mills are being continued, which concerned market participants.
