According to a report released by Constellium SE, a France-based rolled aluminum producer, the firm’s shipments dropped by 10% year on year to 1.4 million tons in 2020, and the revenue fell by 17% to EUR 4.9 billion, mainly due to the COVID-19 epidemic crisis and the decreased metal prices during the reporting period.

In 2020, Constellium had a net loss of EUR 17 million, compared to a net income of EUR 64 million in 2019. Its adjusted EBITDA had a year-on-year decrease of 17% to EUR 465 million, due to the declined demand in the aerospace, transportation, automotive components, and industrial industries, while these negative impacts were partially offset by the improvement in the packaging and automotive rolled products sectors.
