COVID-19 makes Vietnam's HRC market in a panic again

Due to recent local confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Vietnam, the government had made the decision of the complete closure of local traffic for 15 days, which caused the hot-rolled coil HRC market in Vietnam had turned to darkness.

According to the sources, some manufacturers had started to sell the inventories with discounts. There was some demand in the local market from small buyers who had not yet placed the order before, and big buyers were keeping wait-and-see attitude as now the market was full of negative sentiment. The possibility of their purchase was low so far.
