Crude Steel Output by Middle East Countries Surged

The crude steel production by Middle East countries recorded significant surge in the month of November this year. Also, the output reported marginal increase during the year-to-date period.

The production data published by the World Steel Association (worldsteel) indicates that the regional production totalled 3.615 million tonnes (Mt) in November this year. The output was up by 7.6% from the year ago month. The region had produced only 3.360 Mt of crude steel in November last year.
