Deutsche Bank expected the demand for aluminum to be strong, which benefited from developments in the packaging, automotive, aerospace, and transport industries. The aluminum demand will be driven by consumers’ preference for environmentally friendly packaging, which will also prompt more suppliers to produce more environmentally friendly metals.

Deutsche Bank said that aluminum has about 40% less in weight compared to a similar steel structure, and the higher aluminum content in a vehicle can lower greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. The bank expected gains would be brought after the inflationary pressures ease in 2023.
