En+ Group considering divesting Rusal's international assets

En+ Group is considering the possibility to transfer Rusal’s international assets to a new entity, which will be controlled by the group’s management and other investors.

En+ Group would set up a new company to take over Rusal’s alumina, bauxite, and aluminum assets, which are located in Africa, Australia, and Europe.

Rusal's international assets include the Kubal aluminum smelter (Sweden), Aughinish alumina refinery (Ireland), EurAllumina alumina refinery (Italy), Queensland Alumina Limited (QAL) (Australia, 20% Rusal, Rio Tinto 80%), Friguia (Guinea), Windalco (Jamaica), Kindia (Guinea), Dian Dian (Guinea), and Bauxite Company of Guyana Incorporated (BCGI) (Guyana).
