EU' hot-dip galvanized steel import quota remains many

The imports of hot-dip galvanized steel products from Asia were not many in August and September as the prices in Far East markets were more expensive than European markets.

Despite the recent rebound in European markets, there are still plenty of 4B quotas left in Asia, just two weeks before the new safeguard quota is set for October 1.

It was understood that South Korean or Indian hot-dip galvanized steel products weren't sold to the EU market, rather being sold to higher-priced Asian markets.
