European stainless steel market demand expected to recover in Sep

European stainless prices dropped in the past week due to low demand. The EU’s import quotas of safeguard measures were reset on July 1, which meant that the imported goods still in port warehouses can enter the EU market, leading to an oversupply.

On account of the current situation and the following traditional off-season, the European stainless steel market was expected to gain demand after September at the earliest.
