Glencore inks 10-year alumina supply and aluminum offtake agreement with Press Metal

Miner and commodities trader Glencore announced that it has signed a ten-year alumina supply and aluminum offtake agreement with Press Metal Bintulu Sdn. Bhd., one of the leading green aluminum producers in the world.
Glencore is committed to supporting the transition to a low carbon economy. The company wanted to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
Press Metal has an annual aluminum smelting capacity of 1.08 million tons, with a yearly output of 210,000 tons of aluminum profiles.
