Global alumina production totals 11.063 million tons in Apr

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), Global alumina production totaled 11.063 million tons in April this year, with an average daily output of 368,800 tons.
Among them, China's alumina production accounted for 6.077 million tons.
Caroline Bain, the Chief Commodities Economist at Capital Economics, is taking a cautious attitude about China’s proposed economic support package. China’s metals market had previously surged due to hopes of the government’s stimulus measures.
