According to statistics from the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production totaled 6.044 million tons in August, slightly up by 0.23% compared to the previous month and rising by 1.6% from the same month a year ago.
In August, the global average daily output of primary aluminum was 195,000 tons, compared to 194,500 tons in the previous month.
The estimated output of China's primary aluminum was 3.6 million tons in August, compared to 3.588 million tons in July.
