Global primary aluminum market has oversupply of 182,000 tons in July

According to a report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global primary aluminum market had an excess supply of 182,000 tons in July this year.

During the reporting period, the global primary aluminum production was 5.8459 million tons, and the consumption totaled 5.6639 million tons.

In the first seven months of this year, global primary aluminum production was around 40.04 million tons, the consumption totaled 39.36 million tons, and the supply surplus was 680,000 tons.
