According to statistics from the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production totaled 5.851 million tons in May, up by 3.5% compared to the previous month and slightly rising by 0.57% from the same month a year ago.
During the period, China's primary aluminum output was estimated to be 3.46 million tons, compared to the revised 3.337 million tons in April.
