Guinea's bauxite exports rise in Q2

According to the export data of Guinea's mineral resources in the second quarter of 2020, the export volume of Guinea's bauxite in 2020 increased to 22.6 million tons from 19.7 million tons in the same period last year, showing that the coronavirus had little impact on Guinea's mining industry.

In the second quarter of this year, the export volume of RUSAL's alumina increased to around 122,300 tons from 69,000 tons in the same period a year ago.

At the same time, Guine's industrialized gold exports were roughly 118,000 ounces, artisaal gold exports were roughly 819,000 ounces, and diamond mines exports were 39.5 million carats.
