Indian crude steel output increases in Jun

According to the Indian Ministry of Steel, Indian crude steel output totaled 6.8 million tons in June, increasing by 17.7% compared to May.

Due to the impact of COVID-19 and the lockdown of the country, the country's crude steel output in June dropped by 27.2% compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the output of finished steel in June was estimated to be 5.9 million tons, rising by 15.6% from the previous month but down by 33.3% from the same period last year.
