Some companies of primary aluminum, alumina, and aluminum processing in this region have suspended their production due to the continuous heavy rainfall, and the resumption time for production was expected to be a week later or couldn’t be assessed currently.
Many regions in Henan suffered heavy rains from July 18 to 21, and Zhengzhou was even severely affected by the heaviest rainfall on record.
In addition to the production stoppage at plants, the transportation of raw materials and products of some plants was blocked, and the stability of production was greatly affected.
