Hydro adds third aluminum extrusion press at plant in Rackwitz, Germany

Due to the strong market demand in Germany, Hydro has added a third aluminum extrusion press at its manufacturing plant in Rackwitz, Germany, with an investment of EUR 11 million.
The project was expected to create 40 job vacancies and raise the plant’s extrusion capacity by 12,000 tons per year.
After the installation is completed, the products from this facility will be applied to the fields of construction, transportation, general engineering, and so on.
