Hydro invests NOK 67 million to upgrade Lucé aluminum extrusion plant

Hydro invested NOK 67 million in the upgrade of the equipment, buildings, and facilities at its extrusion plant in Lucé, France. The investment will also be used in a new employee development program.

The funds will be mainly spent on the upgrades and/or replacement of electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, hydraulic equipment, and buildings and infrastructure.

The Lucé plant is one of Hydro’s four aluminum extrusion plants in France. Other factories are located in Albi, Châteauroux, and Puget-Sur-Argens.
