Hydro sends low-carbon aluminum to Europe by Norway’s biggest sailing vessel

Hydro shipped its first shipment of aluminum by SC Connector which was Norway’s biggest sailing vessel. The technology would help the vessel to consume less fuel and reduce CO2 emission.

The first commercial voyage of SC Connector would firstly stop at Hydro Husnes and then load aluminum products and directly sail to its European customers. The shipment included around 200 tons of Hydro REDUXA low-carbon aluminum.
