Indian DCM Shriram invests Rs 25 crore in aluminum door & window industry

It was reported that DCM Shriram invested Rs 25 crore to build an aluminum door and window plant in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan through its division Fenesta, and another Rs 10 crore will be added in the next one year to strengthen the business.

The annual output value of the door and window market in India is about Rs 15,000 crore, of which aluminum door and window account for 65% of the total market share, followed by wood ones with a proportion of 22-23% and fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) ones with 12-13%.
