Indian NALCO to benefit from Norsk Hydro's pipeline maintenance at Paragominas bauxite mine

According to Norsk Hydro’s official announcement at its website on August 18, the firm will conduct two-month maintenance at its pipeline transportation of Paragominas bauxite mine in Brazil, which will reduce Alunorte alumina refinery’s production by 30-45%.
Market participants expected that Indian National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) will benefit from Paragominas bauxite mine’s suspension.
It was understood that Alunorte alumina refinery’s production occupied approximately 13% of the global demand.
