India's aluminum scrap imports from US surge in Apr

According to statistics from the US Geological Survey, the US exported 172,000 tons of aluminum scrap in April. Among them, the exports to India totaled 30,300 tons, rising by 9.2% compared to the previous month and surging by 191% from the same month a year ago.
In the first four months of this year, the US exported a total of 655,000 tons of aluminum scrap, of which the exports to India occupied 111,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.72%.
