US’ mechanical tube exports fall in Apr

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 3,100 tons of mechanical tubes in April, falling by 18.3% compared to the previous month while going up by 99% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 2,150 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 22.1% and a year-on-year hike of 128.7%. The exports to other countries were less than 1,000 tons.

During the period, the export value totaled around US$9 million, down by 14.5% month on month and up by 74.1% year on year.
