Indonesia plans to stop exporting unprocessed bauxite

It was reported that Indonesian President Joko Widodo planned to stop exporting unprocessed bauxite.

In the first eight months of this year, Indonesia exported a total of around 10.21 million tons of bauxite to China, ranking the third largest bauxite supplier to China during the period. Guinea and Australia were the first and second-largest suppliers, with total exports to China of around 39.77 million tons and 22.62 million tons, respectively.
