Iran’s aluminum ingot production rises in first 4 months of Iranian year

According to statistics, Iranian major aluminum producers totally produced around 139,000 tons of aluminum ingot in the first four months of the Iranian year (March 20-July 20, 2020), growing by 67% compared to the same period a year ago.

Among them, Iranian Aluminium Company (IRALCO) accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 64,500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5%; followed by Hormozal Aluminum Company with around 30,400 tons, a year-on-year hike of 186%. Almahdi Aluminum Company and South aluminum Company (SALCO) were at the third and fourth position respectively, with a separate output of around 24,000 tons and 12,800 tons; followed by Iran Alumina Company with nearly 7,000 tons.
