ISSF: Global crude stainless steel production’s CAGR in 1950-2020 & 1980-2020

According to the data released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), the global crude stainless steel production totaled around 50.89 million tons from 1950 to 2020, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.68%.

During the period from 1980 to 2020, the global crude stainless steel production had a CAGR of 5.13%, higher than aluminum’s 3.68%, copper’s 2.57%, carbon steel’s 2.42%, zinc’s 2.02%, and lead’s 1.94%.
