Marcegaglia Specialties announced that it would add new products of a series of hot-rolled stainless steel sheets to expand the range of steel sheets. The hot-rolled stainless steel sheet was divided by grades 304L, 316L, and 316Ti, which were designed to meet more different stainless steel market demands.

Marcegaglia Specialties said that it was a great opportunity given by the investment of Marcegaglia Group, this new type of steel sheet could be used for production and inventory. The newly purchased steel cutting production line could flatten the hot-rolled coil into the sheet with a maximum width of 2,000mm and a maximum thickness of 12mm.

At the same time, Italian plant manufacturer Danieli said that it would upgrade Marcegaglia’s 4-hi steel plate plant in San Giorgio di Nogaro and its new hydraulic cylinders, new L2 process control system and blast furnace automation system.
