Italy’s Arvedi Group plans to sell Turkish asset AST Turkey

Italy’s Arvedi Group planned to sell AST Turkey, a stainless steel service center in Gebze, Kocaeli, to local company Sarıtas Çelik.

The company was acquired by Arvedi Group from Thyssenkrupp in 2021. At that time, Thyssenkrupp sold its subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, and Turkey to Arvedi Group.

AST Turkey has a processing capacity of stainless steel of more than 30,000 tons a year. The company’s products are mainly applied in sectors including automobiles and household appliances.
