Japan’s billet exports increase in Nov

According to data from Japan’s customs, in November 2023, Japan’s billet exports amounted to about 240,000 tons, increasing by 15% month on month. Among them, South Korea imported the most of Japan’s billet, with a total of 121,000 tons. The following was Taiwan, with 40,000 tons.

From January to November, the exports were 2.57 million tons, keeping almost flat with the first eleven months of 2022.
