Jindal Stainless to supply stainless steel for India's long railway tunnel project

Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL), the largest stainless steel manufacturer in India, will supply 3,500 tons of EN 1.4404/316L (dual certification) stainless steel with 2B finish to Indian Railways’ Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) tunnel project, which is a 272 km-long railway link between Jammu and Kashmir and the first application of stainless steel cable trays in the Indian railway project.

This project is a railway network with the highest altitude and the most challenging railway project for Indian Railways.
