JSW Steel’s crude steel production hikes in Jul

According to statistics from JSW Steel, the largest integrated steel manufacturer in India, the firm’s crude steel production totaled around 1.24 million tons in July, down by 5.4% compared to the same month a year ago while growing by nearly 9% from the previous month.

Besides, the production of steel plates had a year-on-year increase of 3.5% to 940,000 tons, and that of long products fell by 24% year on year to around 240,000 tons.

The average capacity utilization rate in July increased to 83%, compared to 76% in June.
