Due to the growth in the aluminum demand from the domestic and international markets, Kazakh aluminum smelters benefited from the increasing demand and had a surge in their aluminum production in 2020.

The sales in the domestic and export markets have increased this year, especially the exports in Europe accounted for 77% of total sales, an increase of 10,000 tons.

Kazakh aluminum smelters had a design capacity of 25,000 tons, and the actual production in 2020 was 1,500 tons higher than the target.
