LME aluminum price rises by 0.96% on supply concerns

Russia, the world’s largest aluminum producer outside China, has previously decided to impose new export duties on nickel, aluminum, and copper, which caused concerns on supply.

LME aluminum price rose by 0.96% to US$2,514/ton yesterday (June 29) as of 13:40 Taipei time, and the highest intraday hit US$2,561/ton. The LME aluminum inventories came to 15,900 tons, the lowest since March 9.
