EAEU initiates AD investigation on Georgia’s ferrosilicomanganese

On June 28, 2021, the Department for Internal Market Defence of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) accounted to initiate an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on ferrosilicomanganese originating in Georgia, based on the application submitted by the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) enterprises.

The product involved is an alloy of iron, manganese, and silicon, containing manganese from 30.0% to 75.0% by weight, silicon from 8.0% to 35.0% by weight, and carbon up to 3.0% by weight, classified under HS code 7202300000.

The period of investigation for this case was 2020, and the injury investigation period was 2016-2020.
