The London Metal Exchange (LME) copper price increased by nearly 4% in November. The reasons for the increase were that the US dollar became weak, and the market still expected the demand to go up in the last quarter of 2023.

According to the report, in 2024, the global copper surplus was forecasted to reach 150,000 tons. Besides, the copper supply currently exceeds demand. Therefore, Taiwan's copper products export market might still need time to recover.
