It was reported that the Malaysian government will initiate an administrative review of anti-dumping (AD) duty on cold-rolled coils (CRC) of alloy and non-alloy steel originating or exported from Vietnam, and the final decision of the review will be made within 180 days.

According to Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), the review was launched based on a petition filed by Mycron Steel CRC Sdn. Bhd. (MSCRC), a Malaysian steel maker, saying that the government has found actual changes in the dumping margin on the products involved after evaluating the prima facie evidence.
