Metro Mining Limited, an Australia-based exploration and mining company, reported that its bauxite mining production reached 500,000 wet tons in July, dropping from 505,000 wet tons in the previous month. The shipment was around 460,000 wet tons in July.

In the first seven months of this year, Metro Mining’s accumulated bauxite mining production totaled roughly 1.92 million wet tons, and the total shipment during the same period was 1.7 million wet tons.

The decrease in shipments was mainly due to the replacement of the belts of the barge facilities and the suspension at operations caused by extreme weather.
