Mexico launches first AD sunset review on China’s aluminum cookware

On October 5, 2021, the Mexican Secretariat of Economy (SE) announced that it has decided to launch the first anti-dumping (AD) sunset review investigation on aluminum cookware from China at a request of the Mexican company Vasconia Brands, S.A. de C.V.

During the investigation period, the AD measure determined in the final ruling on October 13, 2016 remains effective.

The period of investigation was from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, and the injury assessment period was from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2021.

The products involved are under tariff code 7615.10.02 of the TIGIE.

The announcement came into force on the day after the issuance.
