Mexico makes final AD ruling on aluminum disc from China

On November 6, 2020, the Mexican Ministry of Economy announced its final anti-dumping (AD) ruling on aluminum disc imports originating in China, deciding to impose an AD duty of US$1.17/kg on the products under HS code 7616.99.10. The announcement comes into effect the day after it is issued.

The investigation was launched on August 9, 2019, based on the application filed by a Mexican company Almexa Aluminio, S.A. De C.V.

The dumping investigation period was from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018, and the damage analysis period was from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018.
