Mexico’s iron pellet output decreases in Sep

According to the statistics from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography of Mexico (INEGI), the production of Mexican iron ore pellet totaled around 487,000 tons in September, decreasing by 22.2% compared to the previous month.

In the first nine months of this year, the production of iron ore pellet in Mexico had a year-on-year reduction of 17.1%.

In September, the Mexican mining and metal production index fell by 3.2% compared to August and also going down by 1.8% from the same month a year earlier.
