Nichicon, the second-largest manufacturer of aluminum electrolytic capacitors in the world, announced today (March 29) that it decided to raise its prices by 10% based on the original price, and the new price will be valid from April 15.

The price adjustment was due to the continuous shortage of aluminum and electricity, repeated new highs of upstream materials prices such as aluminum foil, as well as surging logistics costs.
